I just read "spinach" and "spine ache." I think I need to take a break from all this end-of-semester nonsense.

Congratulations to Steve for earning his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Gabriel Gonzaga awarded him his belt Saturday night. Hopefully this means I'll learn some new moves over winter break.

I will now go dance in my messy room. This may happen in the process:

Finals Lock Down

I didn't go out tonight. But if I had, I would have probably witnessed something like this:

We've been through so much this season...

The adrenaline is rushing.

Just watched two hours of qualifying rounds for the Ultimate Fighter finale.

I am shocked but so happy Junie Browning lost. I really thought he was going to win because he's mentally insane and should be committed. But I forgot that he's also a whiny little baby who gives up easily. Oh well. He's out.

Pretty freakin excited for the season finale December 13th. Especially for the Vinny Magalhaes and Ryan Bader fight. They're both so dreamy.





What I'm MOST excited for, however, is the December 27th UFC 92 match, Mir vs. Nogueira. I'll take this opportunity to put my money on Nogueira.



The most exciting part of this match is that I'll be able to watch it with my brothers instead of just myself! Yea! Then Joe can shush me in real life instead of over AIM.

Ok before you say anything...

YES I know I'm in the minority. That is made blatant every time my friends scoff at my admiration of beards.

I can't help it! I'm a sucker for a good beard. This is not to say I am a sucker for all facial hair. Nor all beards. Some are weird. But when I see a good beard, I will point it out and stare.

Chris, my non-biological brother and fantastic weatherman, grew out an awesome beard for No Shave November. (I wish societal norms dictated the opposite: Shave November. No Shave rest-of-the-year. That could get messy. Hmm.)
